Our Home: {Fall Snapshots}

Happy November 1st!  I am still trying to figure out what happened to October.  Seriously, it went by so fast!  I am a little behind on posting our fall décor so I thought it would be a good time to share a few fall snapshots with you before it is time to bring out the Christmas décor!

This year I stuck with subtle and simple decor.  I love the look of natural elements in soft hues.  This lantern from HomeGoods is one of my favorite pieces because it can stay out all year long and switched up easily by what is inside.  For fall, I actually kept the fern I had in it from spring...and I think it added a nice pop of green.  The driftwood pumpkins from Tuesday Morning added a simple fall touch and brought in some texture to this space.  Of course, my vintage card catalog adds a ton of character to the space so I didn't want to over do the decor.  Less is more, sometimes!

Our reading nook got a cozy touch with this faux fur rug.  I love using layers to create interest in a neutral space.

This vignette was easy to create using a wood bowl and antlers I purchased at Homegoods awhile ago.  By simply adding the little white pumpkins, also from Homegoods, it quickly became a fall vignette!

Keeping with the simple and subtle theme, our living room was adorned with a crate of pumpkins on the coffee table and a few cotton stems on the mantle. Nothing over the top, but just enough to add a fall ambiance!

I cannot wait until it gets cool enough to light the fire! Until then, these candles will get a lot of use!

In our dining room, I kept with the same theme and used natural elements to bring a little fall inside.  A few real, white pumpkins and mercury glass votive holders completed the look!

I hope you enjoyed my mini-fall home tour!  Have a great week!
