Friday Finds: {My trip to At Home + A Giveaway}

Happy Friday!  I have a treat for you all today...and there is a great giveaway involved so don't miss out!

If you follow me on Instagram, then you saw a few sneak peek pictures of my trip to At Home!  I have been shopping at Garden Ridge for years and have several items in my home from their store.  Garden Ridge re-branded and became At Home and I have to say that I was very impressed with the changes they have made!

Being that I was already a customer of Garden Ridge/At Home, I was thrilled when they contacted me and invited me to come take a tour of their store and see all the great changes they have made.  The first thing I noticed when I walked in is how organized the store was.  It can be overwhelming to walk into a huge store full, and I mean FULL, of stuff but they have it set up in a way that makes it very easy to navigate.

I also love that they have little vignettes set up throughout the store to showcase their products in way that can be replicated in your own home!  They have a wide variety of merchandise in several different design styles, so there really is something for everyone!  It really is a one stop shop for everything home decor!

I took some pictures of my trip (with  my phone so excuse the quality but I had to share this place with you) and although they only showcase a very small portion of the inventory, hopefully it will give you an idea of the great items they have!  Enjoy the tour!

First up, accent chairs:
There are rows and rows of accent chairs in several different fabrics and styles and the prices were very reasonable!  I spy stripes, linen, nail heads and so much more!

Dining Chairs and Barstools:
Again, several different styles ranging from rustic to modern.  These are just a few of my favorites!
More furniture:
Dining sets,  headboards and beds, settees, benches, media stands....did I mention linen, nail head trim headboards!?

If those pictures didn't convince you to make a trip, check out all the accent furniture!
This doesn't even begin to show you the selection of accent furniture.  They have everything from small garden stools and side tables to sideboards and bookshelves.  There are several pieces on my wish list and a few I know I am going to go back for!
Next stop...rugs! We are talking everything from natural fiber/jute rugs to shag (and everything in between).  They have tons of color choices,  several different sizes and any style you could wish for.  I spent about thirty minutes looking through the smaller, throw rugs on the very back wall...the fact that they were organized by color was a huge plus!

After the rug section, I hit the accessory section...my favorite!  If you need to add that finishing touch on a room, this is definitely a great store to check out!

Rows of ceramic vases, hurricane lanterns, mercury glass, glassware, jars...

Wooden lanterns, terrariums, decorative storage items, baskets, trays, topiaries and greenery...

They have a great selection of mix and match lamps and lamp shades, mirrors, candles and other unique pieces like decorative bird cages...
They also have a huge selection of wall decor including canvas art, framed art, metal and wood wall plaques, decorative letters and signs, wall hooks and picture frames.  They have a wide variety of wall clocks in all sizes and styles, as well as a whole section of mirrors!  I could spend hours in this section...there is so much to see!

Another area that caught my eye was the pillow department....we are talking tons of pillows in every color under the sun! I have a few of the faux fur pillows and love them...and for under $15, you cannot beat the price!  Pillows are such an easy and inexpensive way to change up a space!
And last but not least...they have an amazing seasonal section.  Right now they have some great patio furniture and accessories but they were starting to stock the fall decor (and I was a tad excited to see it, I am not going to lie). I will say that I am also a huge fan of their holiday decor, too, but I won't get ahead of myself just yet! I will be back in November to pick up some Christmas goodies!  It is still too hot to think about the holidays! One thing I did notice is that they have a huge selection of outdoor cushions!  Lots of designs to chose from and the prices were very reasonable!
So what did I buy?  Well, you will have to check back soon to see the items that I took home with me!  Are you ready for a shopping trip to At Home now?  You can check out their store locator by clicking HERE!

And for the really fun part....
At Home is hosting a Refresh My Room Sweepstakes right now!  To enter, share a photo on At Home's Facebook wall (HERE) or on Instagram by tagging @AtHomeStores, of a room that needs a refresh!  Make sure and use the hashtags #RefreshMyRoom and #Sweepstakes in your post to enter!  After July 17th, At Home will select 3 grand prize winners to receive a $400 At Home gift card and a special package of custom selected At Home products valued at $100!!  Who wouldn't want to win that!!  Good luck!

**Full Disclosure: At Home invited me into their store and compensated me with a gift card to use during my visit.   All opinions above are my honest feedback.  The Refresh My Room sweepstakes is being hosted by At Home and is not connected with Whimsy Girl Design in any way.
