I am excited to share my January project with you today!
A brand new year means new hopes, new dreams, new projects...I could go on and on. My resolution this year is to focus on each day and make the most of it. 2020 taught me a lot of things and the main thing is that you never know what the future holds. I want to live in the moment more and make the most of my time each day doing things that bring joy! To kick of the new year, I have been tackling some home projects. No huge projects, but little things that I had been putting off for awhile for no good reason! It always feel good to get my house in order after the holidays!
To start off the new year, I did a quick laundry room refresh! This room is small and doesn't have a ton of storage space. My long tern plan is to add cabinets or more shelves, but for now I added a few new finds to get it organized and refreshed!

I also couldn't resist the matching canisters. I use them to store my detergent pods and dryer sheets for easy access.

Lined, metal baskets add extra storage for items like paper towels, light bulbs, additional cleaning supplies and so on. These come in a set of 2 and are available in 2 sizes! Due to the depth of my shelves, I used them long ways, but the front also has a metal chalkboard label that is a fun touch!

I also grabbed a pack of non-slip hangers. I will definitely be getting more of these! I air dry most of my tops so these will get a ton of use!

Since my laundry room is so small, I utilize the back wall for a storage space. This compact ironing board from the Better Homes & Gardens line at Walmart is easy to store, out of the way. The tote hamper comes in handy to transport laundry up and down stairs! I also use this wall hook rack to hang clothes to dry. This hanging hook rack is also used to hang clothes to dry. I try to make the most out of such a small room!

One other addition was this stainless steel, oval trash can. It is great to have handy on the way in and out of the garage and also for cleaning out the lint trap in the dryer. I love the sturdy construction and that is has the foot pedal to open the lid when my hands are full!

Moving onto the kitchen....
Last year I did a huge pantry reorganization and absolutely loved the way it turned out. The baskets and containers I added have been perfect for our space!

With the help of the small baskets, I tackled our medicine cabinet. Here is the before...
And the after...much better:

I spy the same baskets of above! I am telling you, these are the best to keep all your closets and cabinets in order!

If you need some additional storage in the bedroom, these under the bed, rolling storage bins are amazing! These are great for extra bedding, towels, pillows, blankets, out of season clothing, toys, stuffed animals and so on....the possibilities are endless. Another plus, there is a plastic cover with zipper closure to keep the contents clean! These are very affordable and are linked below.
