Affordable Patio Refresh: {Sponsored by Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart}

As a Better Homes & Gardens Stylemaker, I am honored to work with their amazing brand sharing their stylish and affordable line of home products available at Walmart! As always, any product reviews or opinions are honest feedback from my personal experience.  This post contains affiliate links to Walmart, which means the brand rewards me with a small commission for any sale resulting from a link click through from my blog.  I am excited to share my March project with you today!

After the crazy week of winter weather we saw in February, we are finally welcoming "patio weather" here in the Dallas area. This month's project was to prep the patio since it will be getting a lot of use.  This was such a fun project to complete and I love the resort feel created out here...

The love seat and chairs were purchased several years ago and are still in a good shape, so they stayed put.  I purchased several new items from the Better Homes & Gardens line at Walmart to give the area a fresh new update.  I couldn't be more pleased with how it all came together! Since the outdoor furniture was purchased several years ago, I wanted to share this awesome set for those in the market for one...

The first thing on my list to source was a rug.  I love the way the rug defines the sitting area while adding texture.  This cabana stripe rug was perfect for this space...classic pattern, great quality and awesome price.  The black and white stripe design adds so much interest to the backyard!

Additional seating was needed in this space and these comfy rocking chairs were the perfect fit.  These come in 3 colors and the design makes them work with any style.  I love the modern vibe they add.  This is definitely my daughter's favorite spot.

Eventually a fire pit will be added to this area, but for now, these outdoor poufs are perfect for acting as a coffee table or propping up your feet.  My daughter likes to use these with the rocking chairs. They are so easy to move around and use where they are needed.

Those outdoor poufs are an in store only purchase, but these are a great option I found online...

To update the existing furniture, I grabbed some new outdoor pillows from the Better Homes & Gardens line.  I love the texture they add.  These are so durable and the prices are so reasonable.  I always find the best pillows from their line.

I finished off the patio refresh with a few accessories.  Every patio needs a fern and every fern needs a fun planter.  This year's planter collection from the Better Homes & Gardens line is the best I have seen.  I fell in love with this simple white planter with wood stand.  If you need planters, make sure to check theirs out!

To add some ambiance to the space, I love using lanterns.  This white lantern came ready to go with an LED, battery operated candle.  It flickers when on and looks like a real candle.  It looks so pretty at night.

On the other side of the couch, I used another lantern but this time I added some battery operated fairy lights.  It adds a pretty glow to this side of the couch.  I cannot wait to add more plants and more lanterns to the space soon!

And last, a patio isn't complete without string lights.  They just add a magical touch!  These were very easy to install and give off just enough light!  It is amazing what a difference these made!
